Successful Conclusion of Asphaleia 2025 – Blue Umbrella Day Campaign on Violence Against Boys

The Faculty of Criminal Justice at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University (KDU) proudly hosted the Asphaleia 2025 – Blue Umbrella Day Campaign on Violence Against Boys on April 28, 2025, marking a significant step in addressing the often-overlooked issue of violence against boys.

Organized in collaboration with the Foundation for Innovative Social Development (FISD), the event aimed to create awareness, foster dialogue, and advocate for stronger child protection frameworks. The campaign aligned with the global Blue Umbrella Day initiative, promoting the rights, safety, and dignity of boys.
